'Tere Ishk Mein' Teaser: Dhanush, Kriti Sanon in A Fiery Love Story

The teaser for Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein is here, pairing Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in an intense and inflammable love story.

Billed as a spiritual sequel to Raanjhanaa (2013), the world of Tere Ishk Mein is etched in fire and pain. Dhanush stars once more as an obsessive young man named Shankar. The teaser begins with a dishevelled Shankar gatecrashing Mukti’s (Kriti Sanon) wedding. With great pain in his voice and eyes, he tells her he'd been to Benaras to cremate his father—and has brought ganga jal (holy water) for her. What follows is a series of violent, brash sequences, evoking a 2x version of Dhanush's Shankar in Raanjhanaa.

Produced by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar, the film is written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. A. R. Rahman has composed the music with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The soaring teaser track is voiced by Arijit Singh, supreme poet of the crestfallen.

Bhushan Kumar of T-Series called it a raw, intense, and emotionally charged love story. “Audiences will see Dhanush and Kriti together for the first time; a fresh pairing that brings a unique, magnetic tension to the screen. With Aanand L Rai’s vision and A. R. Rahman’s soulful music weaving through every moment, we’ve created a world that stays with you long after the credits roll.”

Tere Ishk Mein is set to release in Hindi and Tamil on November 28, 2025. This is the third collaboration between Dhanush and Anand L. Rai. The duo had previously worked together on Ranjhaana and Atrangi Re.

It was reported earlier that Dhanush will play an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer in Tere Ishk Mein, though the teaser does not confirm Shankar’s background or profession.
