Prabhas's upcoming film, The Raja Saab, sets a release date. The film, which is touted to be a pan-India production, is headed for a December 5 release. The makers announced the news on X.
"A day that promises a festival on the big screens just like we all dreamt of seeing our dearest darling Prabhas," Maruthi, the filmmaker, wrote on X, along with a poster from the film. Backed by People Media Factory, the film is produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad. The Raja Saab has cinematography by Karthik Palani and music by Thaman S. Its cast includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar.
Earlier in April, Maruthi shared updates about the delay in its release. "Expecting CG output soon, once those are verified, makers will announce the release date. Many external things will be involved in this process, it's not a one-man work, so things will take time. Be a little patient, everyone is giving their best to match your expectations," he wrote on X. The director also said the post-production team is working relentlessly to finish the film, even as some songs still await filming.
The film is also touted to mark Prabhas' first horror title, and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Prabhas will next be seen in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa and Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Spirit.
