Tiger Shroff will star in Ram Madhvani's 'Vajra'

In November 2025, it was reported that actor Tiger Shroff would be headlining a spiritual action thriller directed by Ram Madhvani, known for his work on Neerja (2016) and Aarya (2020-2024). Today, fans were excited to hear that the title of this film has been revealed: Vajra.

A source close to the project shared: “The film is named Vajra. The makers as well as Tiger feel that the title is apt for the storyline, and also because it's connected with our rich Indian culture."

Produced by Mahaveer Jain, the film is expected to be launched on a grand scale, with the intention of creating it for a global audience, beyond the Indian diaspora. The source also added that this would be an entirely new era for Shroff, and that the project has been equal parts exciting and challenging for the actor.

"In Vajra, Tiger Shroff will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar,” the source shared. “It's a role that unleashes both power and emotion. He is extremely excited about Vajra and its concept, and is working very hard. He's determined to give the audiences an experience that they'll cherish. Ram Madhvani and Mahaveer Jain are also going all out to mount their spiritual big-budget action film on a grand scale."

The makers have been thrilled about the film, hailing it as something that has never been done before in Indian cinema. Vajra is expected to go on floors in the second quarter of 2026, and a large portion of the film will be shot in Japan. Preparation for the actor is already underway, in full swing, the source shares. “Tiger Shroff will be undergoing extensive preparation for this ambitious film."

Shroff was most recently seen in Baaghi 4 (2025), as Ranveer "Ronny" Pratap Singh. In 2026, he will also be seen in Lag Jaa Gale, alongside Lakshya and Janhvi Kapoor.
