The Indian Sneaker Festival is back for its second edition. After a successful debut in Gurugram with headliner 21 Savage, the festival now returns with its Mumbai edition, set to take place on December 6 and 7, 2025, at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC.

The lineup is just (maybe more) as eclectic as the debut. Headlining this year’s bill are some of the world’s most dynamic artists: Grammy-winning pop sensation Tyla, American rapper Lil Yachty, and Belgian techno powerhouse Charlotte de Witte.

After a lot of buzz around Tyla’s debut in India, the Indian Sneaker Festival landing the global icon is no mean feat. One of the most booked techno artists, also known as “techno goddess”, Charlotte de Witte is also the perfect addition to attract the electronic music circuit. Joining her is Lil Yachty, the Atlanta-born rapper whose evolution from SoundCloud prodigy to avant-garde artist has mirrored hip-hop’s own transformation. His 2023 album Let’s Start Here — an experimental fusion of psychedelia and rap has cemented him as a boundary-pushing artist to this day. Having already turned Lollapalooza India into a dance floor last year, Brazilian hitmaker Alok joins the Sneaker Festival lineup.

Balancing the international charge is Kayan, who is set to take her multi-hyphenate sound that has the Gen-Z going crazy. Alongside her are KR$NA, Baby Jean, and a roster of DJs and producers including Nicole Moudaber, Pan-Pot, and Magdalena, rounding out a musically diverse bill.

Headliners will draw crowds, but the curation of the broader experience will reveal whether the festival is a fleeting spectacle or a meaningful cultural stop. Either way, the spotlight is solely on India’s growing role in the global festival circuit.
