'Vadh 2' Starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta to Release in Theatres In February, 2026
Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg’s next production continues the journey of 'Vadh', with a new story that stays grounded in emotion and truth.
Luv Films has announced that Vadh 2, starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, will release in cinemas on February 6, 2026. Written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the film revisits the moral tension and emotional depth that defined Vadh, while introducing a completely new story and set of characters.
Described as a spiritual sequel to the 2022 thriller, Vadh 2 continues to explore the grey areas of human conscience and the choices that test one’s sense of right and wrong. The first-look poster, unveiled with the release date, features Mishra and Gupta in a frame that hints at another intense, character-driven narrative.
Director Jaspal Singh Sandhu said, “We’ve poured our hearts into crafting a story that’s both gripping and thought-provoking. Vadh 2 is very close to my heart, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it on the big screen this February.”

Sanjay Mishra, known for his acclaimed performances in Ankhon Dekhi, Vadh, and Masaan, continues to move between independent and mainstream cinema. He was recently seen in Bhool Chuk Maaf and Ulajh. With Vadh 2, he reunites with director Jaspal Singh Sandhu, returning to a world that earned him some of the strongest reviews of his career.
Neena Gupta, celebrated for her performances in Badhaai Ho, Uunchai, and Panchayat, remains one of the most consistent and respected actors working today. Following her recent appearances in Lust Stories 2 and Metro... In Dino, she joins Vadh 2 in another exciting and emotionally complex role.
