What to Watch on Netflix and Amazon MX Player This Week: 'The Hawk,' 'Heartstopper Forever' and 'Raktanchal' Season 3

This week Will Farrell steps in as a golfer for a new comedy, a coming-of-age love story arrives on Netflix and a gripping crime thriller based on true events makes a comeback for its third season on Amazon MX Player.

Here's what to watch on OTT this week:

Will Ferrell is back in his element: comedy. Directed by Jonathan Watson, The Hawk stars Ferrell, Jimmy Tatro and Fortune Feimster in leading roles. 

It follows Lonnie Hawkins (Ferrell), once ranked as the world's top golfer back in 2004, but now, as he nears the end of his career, he is fighting to rediscover the form that made him great. 

While his physics form stands as an obstruction to him continuing the game,  something inside him won't let go of the game. Both his former wife and his son Lance are convinced his glory days are behind him. Still, with a single major championship standing between him and a career Grand Slam, Lonnie holds his belief that he is just one game away from pulling off golf's greatest comeback.

The Hawk will stream on Netflix from July 16. 

Directed by Wash Westmoreland, the coming of age film follows two kids in love: Nick and Charlie. While their relationship is going strong, fresh obstacles catch up to them as Nick prepares to head off to University while Charlie his new duties back at school.

Heartstopper Forever is written by Alice Oseman. It stars Kit Connor as Nick Nelson and Joe Locke as Charlie Spring, and arrives on Netflix on July 17. 

The third season of this crime thriller will build on the events of the previous season. Directed by Ritam Srivastav, the political crime triller retains Nikitin Dheer and Kranti Prakash Jha in their original roles alongside Karan Patel, Vikram Kochhar, Rajesh Kumar and Mahie Gill.

Inspired by real events, the series is set in Purvanchal. The third season offers a more thrilling insight into the dynamics and explosive rivalry between Waseem Khan (Dheer) and Vijay Singh (Jha).

The series is set to release on Amazon MX Player on July 16.
