On-Set Wardrobes: What Saba Azad, Arjun Kanungo, Santanu Hazarika and Krystle D'Souza Wear To Work
Spotted on set, on stage and on the streets — four tastemakers reveal the clothes, shoes and accessories they swear by right now.
Saba Azad (ACTOR-MUSICIAN)
Azad is a multifaceted talent who’s done it all. She started as a theatre actress before foraying into films and web series. A singer and one-half of the electronic band Madboy/Mink, both on stage and off it, Azad is well known for her signature mix of vintage and streetwear.
Comfort is Key
Azad admits to living in wide-legged high-waist pants and cropped tanks, loose men’s shirts with comfortable sneakers, or worn-in Birkenstocks.
Kicks That Matter
She picks between a pair of Naked Wolfe sneakers and her 15-year-old Doc Martens.
The Wardrobe MVP
An old, oversized worn-down men’s leather jacket from Banana Republic is the piece that the actor-singer treasures most.
The Little Things
Azad usually puts on a stack of rings or a pair of chunky earrings. But when it comes to eyewear, there’s only one UK-based brand that fits her face: Bloobloom.
Santanu Hazarika (VISUAL ARTIST & CULTURE MAKER)
The Indian multidisciplinary artiste’s style is rooted in punk, gothic, and avant-garde influences. “It’s inspired by anime and comic books,” he says, “with a mean character energy and a love for worn-in, alternative silhouettes.”
Workday Uniform
Hazarika is usually spotted in a music band T-shirt, paired with jorts, shorts, or worn-in denim pants.
On Rotation
He rotates his favourites frequently. Lotto is his go-to at the moment — the Melt and the Leggenda series. He also wears Converse Chuck 70s, and collects Off-White sneakers; the ‘Out of Office’ series is a favourite.
Accessories Alert
Hazarika lays it on heavy with silver rings, mostly featuring skulls. He often wears black or rusted necklaces and Italian leather belts with silver studs. For watches, daily wear is G-Shock or Casio. For special occasions, he turns to Rado or Seiko. He makes a special mention of his new Ray-Bans, the new A$AP Rocky editions, which go with his spiked hair perfectly.
Arjun Kanungo (SINGER-COMPOSER)
The genre-hopping hitmaker has now also added entrepreneur to the résumé, launching his own label, One Mind Music, where he’s experimenting with Japanese pop. Offstage, Kanungo’s style mirrors his music: clean, relaxed, and classic.
The Pop-Star Picks
His go-to look is simple: a minimalist T-shirt from Off-White or Amiri, and a pair of jeans from rag & bone or Momotaro.
Shoe Stopper
The singer swears by his pair of Zegna leather shoes. He prefers easy slip-ons, a nod to his habit of leaving shoes at the door.
Keeping it Classic
While a brown Burberry trench ranks high on his style essentials, the piece he treasures is his college basketball jersey. “My wife keeps telling me it’s time to let it go,” he says, “but I’m not ready yet.”
Time to Shine
He wears a watch on each wrist: Paul Newman Daytona on his left, and a Whoop band on the right.
Krystle D’Souza (ACTOR)
The actor, who received a lot of love for her dance in “Shararat” from Dhurandhar (2025), began her journey with the TV series Kahe Naa Kahe in 2007, won hearts in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011) and impressed in shows like Ek Nayi Pehchaan (2013), and Brahmarakshas (2016). Her effortless, evolving style often mirrors her versatile, confident persona.
Workday Wear
On a regular workday, the actor gravitates towards breathable co-ord sets, relaxed trousers with shirts, or flowy dresses. She reaches for clothes that let her move freely, especially before long shoot days.
Shoes That Work Hard
For D’Souza, comfort always comes first. She’s either spotted wearing a pair of stylish (yet practical) sneakers or some classic flats and short heels. Versatile, elegant and comfortable: that’s her mantra.
Delicate Details
The actor strongly believes that accessories should complement, not overpower an outfit. Subtle earrings, rings, and minimal necklaces are usually her go-to picks. For watches too, she sticks to clean, classic designs that can transition seamlessly from day to night.
Get The Scent
Saba Azad: The actor-musician tries to stick to non-toxic perfumes, and her current favourite is Missy by / rosie jane.
Santanu Hazarika: Hazarika favours bold, memorable fragrances. While Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black Elixir is classy and sophisticated yet playful, the YSL Tuxedo is strong, grounded, and draws plenty of compliments.
Arjun Kanungo: The singer discovered the Ylang 49 by Le Labo Fragrances with his wife accidentally many years ago and it’s become their favourite. He also loves the Creed Boutique Aventus for everyday use and the Tom Ford Oud when it needs to be less casual.
Krystle D’Souza: The actor loves wearing fresh, floral notes during the day, and warm, musky fragrances in the evenings. Her favourite is the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. She’s drawn to subtle, woody notes.
