The inaugural edition of RPSG Lifestyle Media's The Honours, powered by The Hollywood Reporter India was held on February 18, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, celebrating excellence in Indian storytelling across film and streaming. The evening recognised the best series, films, and individual performances of the year, along with a special blockbuster honour and the coveted Icon of the Year title. The event was opened by Avarna Jain, Chairperson of RPSG Lifestyle Media and Vice Chairperson of Saregama India, who set the tone by declaring that "culture is capital." Presenters through the night included filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, superstar Anil Kapoor, and the iconic duo of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani, while legendary actress Shabana Azmi graced the stage to present the Icon of the Year honour.
The evening was filled with heartfelt and memorable moments — from debut filmmakers sharing deeply personal journeys of perseverance and self-belief, to industry veterans celebrating the collaborative spirit of storytelling. Neha kept the energy alive with her signature wit, drawing laughs and candid exchanges from the guests on stage. Editor of The Hollywood Reporter India, Anupama Chopra, closed the night with Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Roger Ebert's famous words on cinema being the most powerful aid to empathy. With a room full of talent that stayed and cheered for each other till the very end, The Honours set the stage for what promises to become a defining celebration of Indian cinema and streaming.
