Tamil actor Ravi Mohan has officially joined LCU. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj welcomed the actor to the world of Tamil film Benz, which is part of Kanagaraj's LCU, a cinematic universe named after himself. "Welcome to the universe @iam_RaviMohan sir," the director wrote, along with images from his shoot.

Nivin Pauly, in November, posted update on Benz, confirming that he has finished his portion in the Raghava Lawrence action thriller. He is said to be playing the villain in the film, which is a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe, or LCU. He shared some photos from the set of the film in which Nivin is playing Twin Fish Walter. Raghava Lawrence acts in the titular character of Benz, and actor Samyuktha is also part of the cast.

While Kanagaraj is not directing this instalment, he remains creatively involved, co-writing and co-producing the film under his G Squad banner. Composer Sai Abhyankkar, known for AA22, is on board for this film. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan.

Ravi Mohan recently announced that he will step away from acting until his divorce proceedings are completed, citing emotional distress, cyberbullying and the ongoing turmoil in his personal life as reasons behind the decision.

Addressing the media at his office, Ravi said he has struggled to focus on work amid the current circumstances and is unable to continue dealing with what he described as constant public scrutiny and humiliation.

"Whenever I get my divorce and my life becomes normal again, whenever this cyberbullying stops, I will return. I see everything. I know everything that is happening. For 23 years, I have worked day and night. 95 per cent of my films have been successful. It feels strange that I even have to say this myself, but I have earned everything through hard work," he said.
