The fantasy entertainer Don't Trouble The Trouble, starring Fahadh Faasil and child actor Ssara Palekar, has shifted its worldwide release to October 2, 2026 from the earlier September 11 date. Written and directed by Shashank Yeleti and presented by SS Rajamouli, the film blends magic, action and comedy, with Netflix confirmed as its post-theatrical streaming home.

The makers of Don't Trouble the Trouble have announced a new release date for the upcoming Telugu fantasy entertainer, Don't Trouble The Trouble, which stars Fahadh Faasil alongside child actor Ssara Palekar. The film, which is written and directed by Shashank Yeleti, had previously been announced for a September 11 release. The latest announcement from the makers has revealed the new worldwide release date as October 2, 2026.

The announcement was accompanied by a new poster showing Fahadh Faasil seated on a staircase alongside Ssara, who holds a magic wand while money rains down around them. Faasil and Palekar are accompanied by a small dog who is seated on the staircase with them. In the background against the night sky, the landscape of Hyderabad city is visible.

The film is directed by Shashank Yeleti and is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and SS Karthikeya. Don't Trouble The Trouble is presented by SS Rajamouli, whose son SS Karthikeya serves as one of the producers. The production companies behind the film are Arka Mediaworks and Showing Business and music for the film is composed by Kaala Bhairava. The posters for the film reveal a collaboration with Netflix, confirming the platform for the film's post-theatrical OTT arrival.

The cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Ssara and Saurabh Sachdeva. Earlier this year, THR India reported that actor Saurabh Sachdeva had joined the cast of the film. Sachdeva, a veteran acting coach and performer, was seen in the Malayalam film Eko, making his debut in the industry. With Don’t Trouble the Trouble, the actor continues to make his mark across multiple regional industries.

The film's teaser, released in July, established Faasil's character, Suri, introducing Ssara's character to "magic tricks" and even making her disappear. It went on to reveal action scenes of Suri making quick escapes along with the young girl’s character eventually appearing to gain powers. A song titled 'Cakeu Walku' was also released a few weeks ago.

Faasil last entertained Telugu audiences in Pushpa 2: The Rule, playing the villainous, vindictive Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Sachdeva was also a part of the Pushpa sequel, playing the character Hameed. Faasil was last seen on screens in Aakash Baskaran's Tamil coming-of-age comedy, Idhayam Murali, earlier this year.

Shashank Yeleti previously directed Mana Mugguri Love Story (2017). Don't Trouble the Trouble marks his return to direction and his first collaboration with Fahadh Faasil.
