Tharun Bhascker's 'ENE Repeat' brings back Vishwak Sen and the gang for a thrilling sequel. The film explores their filmmaking ambitions as they venture into creating a survival movie, facing unexpected challenges. With returning cast members and new additions, the sequel promises to deliver the same charm that made the original a cult classic.

The boys of ENE are back, and this time for a bigger adventure. The trailer for Tharun Bhascker's upcoming Telugu film ENE Repeat was recently launched, showing us a glimpse of the gang's indulgent filmmaking desires.

The sequel takes the gang's filmmaking ambitions in a new direction. This time, Vivek (Vishwak) and his friends decide to venture into making a survival film, only to find themselves dealing with a string of situations they hadn't bargained for.

Vishwak Sen reprises his role as Vivek, with Abhinav Gomatam, Venkatesh Kakumanu and Srinath Maganti returning as Kaushik, Uppu and Karthik, respectively. Anisha Ambrose is also back as her character from the original, while Shivatmika Rajasekhar and Priyadarshini Ram join the ensemble. The technical crew includes cinematographer AJ Aaron and composer Vivek Sagar.

The film is a sequel to the 2018 cult Telugu buddy comedy of the same name. "When I was thinking of what kind of film to do after the success of Pelli Choopulu, no matter what situation I was in in my life, I always had four friends around me and I decided to make a film about friendship," said filmmaker Tharun Bhascker at the trailer launch event, adding that he wanted to fulfil audience expectations with the sequel.

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi followed four childhood friends, Vivek (Vishwak Sen), Karthik (Sai Sushanth Reddy), Kaushik (Abhinav Gomatam) and Upendra (Venkatesh Kakumanu),  whose paths diverge as adults before they reunite and head to Goa, where a string of mishaps leads them into making a short film together. The film became a commercial success on release and has since attained cult classic status, prompting a theatrical re-release on its fifth anniversary in 2023. The sequel reunites several of its principal cast members under the same writer-director.

The upcoming sequel will be released on November 19.
