Sanjana Sanghi has come on board as the female lead of the high-budget action film Hitman, led by Tiger Shroff and Suniel Shetty, marking her first on-screen collaboration with Shroff. Though the makers have not issued an official confirmation or revealed plot and production details, sources say Sanghi will appear in a dynamic avatar, sharing significant screen space with both Shroff and Shetty.
Actor Sanjana Sanghi has joined the cast of Hitman, the upcoming action film starring Tiger Shroff, Suniel Shetty and Amit Sadh. According to sources close to the production, Sanghi has been finalised as female lead role alongside the two stars, and will share significant screen space with both Shroff and Shetty. The film, said to be a high-budget action entertainer, will see Sanjana in a “dynamic avatar.”
Hitman was announced with Tiger Shroff and Suniel Shetty in the lead. Further details about the film's plot, crew, and production timeline have not been made public by the makers.
"The makers were on the lookout for a fresh, performance-driven pairing opposite Tiger, and Sanjana fit the bill perfectly," a source close to the project shared. "The narrative demands a strong screen presence, and her inclusion adds a very intriguing layer to the ensemble. She will be sharing significant screen space with both Tiger and Suniel Shetty."
This project would bring together Sanghi and Shroff on screen for the first time. Sanghi made her debut in 2019 with Dil Bechara, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Her subsequent work includes Dhak Dhak (2023), Om: The Battle Within (2022), and her most recent project, Woh Bhi Din The (2024), where she starred alongside Adarsh Gourav and Chaitanya Bhushan.
Hitman will be Tiger Shroff’s latest project since Baaghi 4 (2025). The fourth installment in the action-thriller franchise Baaghi, his last film also starred Sanjay Dutt, Harnaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa.
Suniel Shetty stars in the upcoming comedy family entertainer Welcome to the Jungle, the third film in Anees Bazmee’s comedy film franchise Welcome. Welcome to the Jungle features an extensive ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar and includes Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, among many others. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 26.
