Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi details the relationship between a father and a daughter. When any of them is harmed, his warmth gives way to uncontrollable aggression. When a series of mysterious murders targeting young girls shakes the village, he must confront his own demons to put an end to the violence.

The film also features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar and Swasika in important roles, alongside Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, Meesala Lakshman, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramana Bhargav, Kishore Kancherapalem, Karthik Adusumalli, and Mahesh. It has music by GV Prakash Kumar and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Meanwhile, the actor also recently announced a collaboration with Telugu filmmaker Vivek Athreya, who last directed Nani in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The movie will go on floors after Ravi Teja wraps up his next project with director Hasith Goli, and will be directed by Laxman and Srini of Bridge Productions.
