Shah Rukh Khan's King unveils its first song, 'Tu Mil Jaaye,' blending romance and action. Featuring Khan and Deepika Padukone, the video showcases love on sandy beaches and intense action scenes. Released on Khan's birthday, the film promises a thrilling spectacle, set to debut on December 24, 2026, under Siddharth Anand's direction.

After the release of the first poster a few days ago, the 'King' returns, reaffirming that he is a lover, not a killer.

As midnight struck on the occasion of the superstar's birthday, T-Series and Red Chillies Entertainment have released 'Tu Mil Jaaye', the first song from Shah Rukh Khan's King. Set primarily along a beachfront, the song features Khan and Deepika Padukone, a long-adored on-screen pairing, in a romantic setting.

Sharing the song's release on social media, the superstar wrote, "Yeh Daur Ishq ka Naseeb Waalon ko milta hai... Jahan Barood ki Khushboo mein Gulab khilta hai...

Of Love and other Battles....

This December, #LoveLikeAKing"

Tu Mil Jaaye opens with a monologue from Khan, where he says that he is not a killer, but a lover, and that his target is his beloved. What follows are Khan and Padukone grooving to the song, dancing on sandy beaches and waterfronts. While scenes intercut show the couple spending time together and enjoying everyday things together, the music video also sees the 'killer' side of Khan's King.

These scenes show King as a smuggler, engaging in the transport of guns and weaponry. Further, we see him engaged in intense action scenes featuring gunfire and bloodshed as he eliminates his enemies.

As the video concludes, a close-up of the superstar bloodied sees him explain: "But this time there is fire in my heart. Without the world burning, I will not agree." The final scene sees Khan load a gun and end an enemy.

This song features Arijit Singh, Ed Sheeran and Madhubanti Bagchi. It marks the return of Singh and Sheeran collaborating, after their first project together, 'Sapphire' (2025)

At midnight, to mark Khan's birthday, a large projection on the superstar's house, Mannat (which is currently under renovation), shared birthday wishes to the actor as well notes of gratitude from Khan himself. His signed message to his fans and well-wishers read, "Thank you all for your wishes and love. Sending mine right back to you all. Lots of love & a big hug."

Khan also waved to fans in Mumbai as he was exiting in his car, marking a special moment for fans who waited for hours to catch a glimpse of their favourite superstar.

King is a big-screen action spectacle produced by Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Anand’s Marflix Pictures. The film reunites the superstar with Deepika Padukone after films like Jawan, Pathaan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Om Shanti Om.

The recently shared poster sees Khan on fire in the dazzling first poster. In the stylish poster, Khan emerged unfazed from the ramp of a destroyed cargo plane, which is in flames. Dressed in a leathery ensemble and jeans, he has a rose on his lips and a gun in his hand. A new theme tune titled ‘King Is Back’ accompanies the poster.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is on schedule to release on December 24, 2026, on occasion of Christmas Eve.
