Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has named Robert Pattinson its new Global Ambassador, aligning the brand’s two-century legacy of precision and reinvention with the actor’s genre-defying career. Pattinson, known for roles from Twilight to The Batman, praised the Maison’s “quiet mastery,” while CEO Jérôme Lambert cited his artistic depth and authenticity as a natural fit for an upcoming campaign.

Swiss luxury watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre has onboarded Hollywood star Robert Pattinson its newest global ambassador, pairing the Manufacture's reputation for precision and timeless design with an actor known for singular talent, artistic audacity and effortless elegance.

It's a role that tracks with the shape of Pattinson's career. From Twilight's Edward Cullen to the grime-caked hustler of the Safdie brothers' Good Time, the the sci-fi drama High Life, Robert Eggers' black-and-white fever dream The Lighthouse and Matt Reeves' brooding The Batman, Pattinson has built a filmography defined by his refusal to repeat himself.

Jaeger-LeCoultre, for its part, has spent nearly two centuries defining excellence. Since 1833, the Manufacture, based in the Vallée de Joux, has logged over 1,400 calibres and 430 patents, built its identity on mastering complications rather than a single signature look, and earned the nickname the Watchmaker of Watchmakers™ for it. Across 82 ateliers, 108 crafts and 235 techniques, including 69 exclusive to the house, the brand has made a habit of reinventing its own mechanisms while staying recognisably itself; a balance it now says it sees mirrored in its newest ambassador.

Pattinson said the connection was genuine rather than manufactured. "For me, the most compelling objects are the ones that have real depth to them. A great watch isn't just about precision: it's about character, craftsmanship, and the story behind how it's made," he said, adding that Jaeger-LeCoultre's "quiet mastery" is something he deeply connects with in his own work, where technical innovation and artistic expression exist in balance.

"There’s an integrity to everything they create, where technical innovation and artistic expression exist in perfect balance. I find that approach incredibly inspiring, and it’s something I deeply connect with in my own work," the star added.

"Robert Pattinson represents a rare combination of artistic depth, curiosity, and authenticity," says Jérôme Lambert, the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. "His journey is defined by a relentless commitment to excellence and an independent spirit that aligns seamlessly with the values of our Maison. We are delighted to welcome him to the Jaeger-LeCoultre family."

For Jaeger-LeCoultre, the pairing marks a new point of entry into contemporary culture, built less on shared style than a shared instinct for reinvention. That connection will play out through a campaign debuting mid-September, with Pattinson set to bring the partnership to life on screen for the first time under the Maison's banner.

Pattinson's upcoming slate backs up the reputation for restlessness. He recently starred in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and will next appear in Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Three, Lance Oppenheim's Primetime, which he also produced  and Fernando Meirelles' Here Comes the Flood, opposite Denzel Washington and Daisy Edgar-Jones, all due in early 2027.
