Romanchakam, the upcoming Telugu film presented by filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will be released on September 3. The makers of the film made this announcement alongside a short glimpse of the romance, which details the intense and turbulent love story between characters played by Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar.

The film, directed by Venu Gopal Reddy, is produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga and presented by Sandeep Reddy Vanga under the banner of Bhadrakali Pictures. The film also co-stars Upendra Limaye, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Narendra Ravi, Mani Aegurla, Sai Sohan and others, has music by Vasuki Vaibhav and camerawork by Pavan Pappula.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently gearing up for the anticipated release of Prabhas's upcoming film Spirit. Written, edited and directed by Vanga, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga. Billed as a global entertainer, with a release in multiple languages. Triptii Dimri stars in a role that was initially offered to Deepika Padukone, who was the film's female lead, before she exited the project, citing work-hour issues. In response to the controversy, Vanga shared his perspective on social media without naming Padukone, expressing his frustration over creative disagreements and accusing the actor of sharing details about the project prematurely. It is slated for a March 5, 2027, release.
Ananthika was last seen in Phanindra Narsetti's 8 Vasantalu, released by production house Mythri Movie Makers. The film, anchored by Sanilkumar, documented a young woman's navigation of love, ambition and loss over the period of 8 years. Sumanth Prabhas was recently seen in Telugu film Godari Gattupaina.
