A potential box office clash is brewing for Eid 2027, with Salman Khan’s newly announced film alongside Nayanthara eyeing the same festive window that has been widely associated with Spirit, the upcoming collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

The yet-untitled project, currently referred to as #SVC63, is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The producers have confirmed an Eid 2027 theatrical release, positioning the film as a large-scale commercial entertainer tailored for the holiday corridor.

The announcement marks Khan’s return to the Eid slot, a period historically linked to some of his biggest commercial successes. After a run of mixed theatrical results, the move signals a strategic recalibration, leveraging a high-visibility festive window that typically drives strong footfall for star-led releases.

The film is described as a high-budget action drama, combining spectacle with emotional storytelling. It also brings together Khan and Nayanthara on screen for the first time.

Produced by Shirish and Kuldeep Rathore, with Rafi Kazi as co-producer, the project is expected to be mounted as a multi-language release targeting audiences across regions.

Its scheduled release, however, places it in a potentially crowded window. While Spirit has not officially announced a release date, the Prabhas-starrer has been widely speculated to target a similar festive period, raising the possibility of a high-profile box office clash if both films hold course.

Further details about the plot and supporting cast of #SVC63 remain undisclosed. But its scale and release strategy underline the industry’s continued reliance on major stars, spectacle and festival timing to anchor theatrical business.
