Prime Video has set May 22, 2026 as the streaming debut of System, a courtroom thriller directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and led by Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika and Ashutosh Gowariker. The film follows a public prosecutor and a stenographer who unite to expose hidden injustices and entrenched power structures, exploring how real justice extends beyond court verdicts into deeper systemic realities.
Prime Video has announced the release date of System, a courtroom thriller directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and headlined by Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika, and Ashutosh Gowariker. Produced by Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja, and Smitha Baliga under Baweja Studios, the film will stream from May 22, 2026.
According to the official synopsis, System explores how justice is not always delivered through court rulings alone, but through confronting deeper systemic realities. It follows Neha Rajvansh (Sonakshi Sinha), a public prosecutor, and Sarika Rawat (Jyotika), a courtroom stenographer from a modest background, who join forces to uncover hidden injustices. The narrative centres on their pursuit of truth as they confront entrenched power structures.
The extended cast also features Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Aashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and Sayandeep Gupta. The screenplay is written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala, and Akshat Ghildial.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari last directed the gritty romance drama Faadu, starring Pavail Gulati and Saiyami Kher. She is best known for the films Panga, Bareilly Ki Barfi and her acclaimed debut feature Nil Battey Sannata.
Sonakshi Sinha headlined the cop drama Dahaad on Prime Video. The second season of the series is currently under production.
