Makers of the Telugu action epic The Paradise have confirmed there will be no delay to its worldwide theatrical release, set for September 24, 2026, quashing rumours of a postponement due to post-production issues. Directed by Srikanth Odela and starring Nani as a tribal leader, the film explores a marginalised community’s fight against systemic oppression, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
The makers of The Paradise confirmed on September 7 that the Telugu action epic starring Nani will stick to its previously announced worldwide theatrical release date, September 24, 2026, putting to rest rumours regarding the film's delay.
The confirmation comes after speculation about a possible postponement due to delays in post-production work.
The film's official social media channels shared the confirmation along wth promotional materials with the September 24 date, putting an end to the postponement rumours.
The Paradise is written and directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, co-produced by Ishan Saksena and edited by Navin Nooli.
The film's narrative centers on a marginalised tribal community long denied basic rights, with the story tracking the rise of a leader who challenges a deeply entrenched system of oppression.
Alongside Nani, the cast includes Kayadu Lohar as the lead alongside Nani, Raghav Juyal as the villain Vikram Malik, along with Mohan Babu and Sampoornesh Babu in pivotal roles.
Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography is by Ch Sai and editing is by Navin Nooli.
The latest single from the film, Yeshanagula, was release in late August, starring actor Keerthy Suresh in a special appearance in the single's music video.
The film's makers made the announcement on August 27, with Suresh also teasing her special appearance with Nani. In a post on X, the Sathyavan Savithri star replied to a post shared by Odela, which read, "YES, it’s #YESHANAGULA. Lyrics: Kasarla Shyam Singers: Jangi Reddy, Prabha. Music: Anirudh. Out on August 29th."
Suresh replied to this, saying, "Vaadi Jadal ni muttukuntte vaadiki sarrruumantadi" (If you touch the braid, he’ll get all excited), with a photo of her holding one of Nani's two braids that he will be seen sporting in the film.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise marks his second collaboration with Nani following the commercial success of Dasara in 2023. Expectations for the reunion have been high, particularly after Dasara performed strongly at the box office and expanded Nani’s action-hero image.
