Arunachala Creations’ Telugu musical romance Thella Kaagitham, starring Harsh Roshan and Nakshatra, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026. Directed by debutant Ramesh Bandreddi, the film explores young love and emotional relationships, with music by Vijai Bulganin and writing by Nandu Savirigana, known for Samajavaragamana and Nari Nari Naduma Murari.
Arunachala Creations has announced the release date for its upcoming Telugu-language musical romance, Thella Kagitham, starring Harsh Rooshan and Nakshatra. The banner announced the release date with a new first look at the film's lead cast.
The film, directed by Ramesh Bandreddi in his directorial debut, is set to release worldwide on October 2, 2026.
The newly shared first look poster sees Roshan and Nakshatra's characters walking together in the rain, with Roshan holding a banana leaf over their heads.
Thella Kaagitham is slated to be a musical love story revolving around young love, memorable relationships and the emotions that surround them. Further plot details are yet to be revealed.
Backed by producer Krishna Komalapati, the film's story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Nandu Savirigana, who previously co-wrote Samajavaragamana (2023) and Nari Nari Naduma Murari (2026). The film's technical crew further include executive producer Ravi Surneddi, cinematographer KV Guhan, Karthika R Srinivas as the editor, and Ramesh Bonam as co-director.
Music for the film is composed by Vijai Bulganin. The film's first single ‘Chilaka’, sung by Anurag Kulkarni, was released earlier this year.
This film marks Roshan's return to the screen after Band Melam, which released earlier this year. His previous outings include Arjun Chakravarthy (2025), Court – State Vs A Nobody (2025), RTI (2024) and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024), which starred Nani, Priyanka Arulmohan and S.J Suryah in leading roles. Apart from Thella Kaagitham, Roshan is also working on another upcoming production, titled Fighter Raja.
Thella Kaagitham also marks a reunion for Roshan and composer Vijai Bulganin, after Bulganin composed the music for Court.
Writer Nandu Savirigana is known for his previous writing credits on films like Comrade Kalyan (2026), Nari Nari Naduma Murari (2026), Mass Jathara (2025) and #Single (2025). He is credited for co-writing the dialogues for the highly-awaited Mohanlal-Chiranjeevi starrer Kaaka, which is slated to release in 2027.
Thella Kaagitham releases in theatres worldwide on October 2.
