It is being shot by Nirav Shah, edited by Karthik Srinivas R, and the music of the period historical drama is by Ajay Atul. The film will also be released in four other versions, including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Mandanna, who is currently working on both Ranabaali and Mysaa, a Telugu-language action drama directed by Rawindra Pulle, recently sustained a serious hip injury while filming on set, with doctors advising her to take six weeks of complete rest before beginning a structured rehabilitation programme. The injury involved a complete tendon detachment in her hip.
According to reports, the actor sustained the injury in the midst of consecutive action and dance shoots across the schedules of the two upcoming films.
Deverakonda was last seen in a cameo in Singeetham Srinivasa Rao's Sing Geetham (2026), while Mandanna was most recently seen in Homi Adajania's Cocktail 2, alongside Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.
Ranabaali marks the couple's third collaboration after Geetha Govindam (2018), and Dear Comrade (2019).
