Even in terms of India nett, Bhooth Bangla is the third best performing film of Kumar, clocking in a solid ₹58 crore in three days.

Both, in terms of India nett and global gross, Bhooth Bangla, has perfomed better than Kumar's Jolly LLB 3, which also starred Arshad Warsi. The film, released last year, had netted ₹53.50 crore in three days at the domestic box-office.

All eyes will now be on the Monday trend of the film, to figure just how much the movie would drop and continue its weekday run at a stable rate. Bhooth Bangla will have a free week ahead, with no major release this friday apart from Ginny Wedss Sunny 2. The rom-com stars Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr and is gearing up for an April 24 release.

Produced by Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, Bhooth Bangla marks the much-awaited reunion of Kumar and Priyadarshan after hit comedies like Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Khatta Meetha, which marked their last collaboration in 2010. The duo will also work together in the thriller Haiwaan, co-starring Saif Ali Khan.
