'Chauhaan' Teaser: Ajay Devgn To Headline Action Entertainer In A Larger-Than-Life Persona

Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Unveil have released the trailer of Neeraj Yadav's upcoming action entertainer Chauhaan, starring Ajay Devgn.

The makers unveiled the trailer yesterday to remember the late Veeru Devgan on his birth anniversary, giving audiences a glimpse into an intense, adrenaline-fuelled world.

Devgn has proved his action chops in popular films such as Tanhaji and the Singham franchise. With Chauhaan, the actor steps into the larger-than-life action-hero image that fans have long adored him for, with yet another iconic entrance as seen in the trailer.

In the teaser, Devgn is seen dressed in all black and rolling a bag behind him, as the iconic 'Jumma Chumma De De' plays in the backdrop. And just as the trailer nears the end, it closes on the line, “Pathaanon se kehna, Chauhaan aa raha hai (Tell the Pathaans, Chauhaan Is Coming)", which has caught attention online.

The line has sparked some debate with fans wondering if it's a subtle dig at Shah Rukh Khan's 2023 action-thriller Pathaan. However, there is no clarity if this indeed was the intent.

Chauhaan marks the Devgn's first-ever collaboration with filmmaker Aanand L Rai, with Jio Studios as the producer and presenter. Directed by Yadav and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Rai, and Himanshu Sharma, the film is slated to release in cinemas on October 1, 2027.
