The stylish first-look of Tamil star Ajith Kumar from his forthcoming film Daredevil is out, with the production house confirming that filming will begin on November 2, 2026. The announcement was made on social media, with the makers writing, “Dare Devil filming begins from November 02nd 2026!” They also shared the film's maiden poster, with Ajith turned out in a natty white suit and wine-red sunglasses. The title design adapts a dice motif, teasing themes of chance and unpredictability.
Earlier, director Adhik Ravichandran had announced that the actor’s 64th film, previously referred to as AK64, had been titled Daredevil. The announcement came months after the project was first confirmed, following Ravichandran’s collaboration with Ajith on The Good Bad Ugly in 2025.
Ravichandran had shared a message on X, describing Daredevil as a special project and thanking Ajith and his wife, former actor Shalini, who is producing the film under the newly launched banner, Bravehearts Production.
“34 years of breaking barriers, inspiring millions, and redefining stardom. A journey built on passion, perseverance, and unmatched charisma. Daredevil is here. This is going to be very special. Thank you my sir, Ajith Kumar sir, for the trust and support. Thank you producer Shalini mam,” he wrote.
In November last year, while pre-production and location scouting were underway, Ravichandran had spoken about the responsibility of directing Ajith again after The Good Bad Ugly. “It would be very special film for me because Ajith sir has trusted me with another film after Good Bad Ugly. I am working on AK64 with that responsibility,” he had said.
Daredevil will mark Ajith’s return to the screen, following a break to focus on his racing commitments. The film’s technical crew comprises editor Vijay Velukutty, cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar and sound designer Suren.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has been confirmed for the project. Daredevil marks his fourth collaboration with Ajith after Vivegam, Vedalam and Vidaamuyarchi. Ravichander had confirmed his involvement on X, writing, “Once again with dearest AK sir in an Adhik Ravichandran directorial, Daredevil. Much love to Shalini Ma’am, Suresh Chandraa and Brave Hearts Production.”
Recently, Ajith and fellow Tamil star Vijay were seen together at Silverstone in the UK. The actors met at the Michelin Le Mans Cup on September 12, where Ajith was competing and Vijay was present to flag off the event. Their reunion drew attention online, with photographs and videos of the two actors greeting each other and sharing a hug circulating widely.
