As previously reported by THR India, the film is expected to shatter all opening day records as well. This will be the biggest opening day one for a Hindi film, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan by a huge margin.

Globally, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will look to open around an estimated ₹225-250 crore gross, standing behind the current record holder, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2, which had grossed around ₹280 crore in 2024. The previous best global gross from the Hindi film industry was in 2023, with Khan's Jawan grossing around ₹130 crore on day one.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the sequel continues the journey of Indian intelligence agent Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates undercover in Karachi, infiltrating criminal syndicates and political power structures to dismantle a terror network threatening India.
