Prime Video on Friday (August 29) launched the trailer of their new original comedy series, Do You Wanna Partner. Headlined by Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty, the series tracks the hopes and hustle of two best friends who launch an alcohol startup.

The breezy and fast-paced trailer introduces Shikha (Bhatia) and Anahita (Penty), best buddies who quit the corporate grind to float their own craft beer brand. “Beer is not just an alcohol, it’s an emotion,” Shikha says. Television star Nakuul Mehta appears as a master mixologist, while Shweta Tiwari and Neeraj Kabi play a couple of shady investors. Jaaved Jaaferi, Sufi Motiwala and Rannvijay Singha also feature in the cast in key roles.

Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, Do You Wanna Partner is directed by Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar and written by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora and Mithun Gangopadhyay. The series has been created by Gangopadhyay with Nishant Nayak.

Tamannaah Bhatia described the series as layered yet fun. “What makes it truly special is how it celebrates female friendships and the spirit of sisterhood without turning it into a women-versus-men narrative,” the actor said in a statement. “It's a story that celebrates friendship, hustle, and the courage to turn the craziest ideas into reality. For me, playing the role of Shikha and working with the incredible cast and crew has been a transformative experience.”

Daina Penty said she was drawn in by the ‘authentic chemistry’ between her and Bhatia’s characters.

“The show doesn’t just explore the entrepreneurial journey, it also beautifully captures the magic of collaboration and female friendship, making it deeply relatable,” Penty said. “Playing Anahita – a woman who pursues her dreams with resilience while standing by her best friend and navigating the many challenges of being an entrepreneur – has been both exciting and empowering.”

Do You Wanna Partner will stream on Prime Video from September 12.
