'Drishyam: The Conclusion' Box Office: Ajay Devgn-Tabu Starrer Grosses Over ₹272 Crore Worldwide in Opening Weekend

There is no mystery here. Drishyam: The Conclusion has delivered a dominant opening weekend at the global box office, capitalising on strong audience word-of-mouth to post ₹272.80 crore in worldwide gross across its first three days.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the crime-thriller, led by Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Jaideep Ahlawat, concluded its opening weekend with ₹176.50 crore in India, pacing past early industry estimates.

Drishyam 3 Box Office Collection - Weekend 1

The film opened on Friday to a whopping ₹62 crore, registering the biggest opening day of the year for a Hindi film outside Dhurandhar 2.

Drishyam: The Conclusion then put up a fantastic Saturday hold, delivering a day two of ₹53.50 crore. The momentum rebounded on Sunday with ₹61 crore, putting the feature in the top five all-time highest opening weekends for Hindi cinema.

According to the tracker, the film's domestic theatrical gross reached ₹211.80 crore, complemented by an overseas gross of ₹61 crore.

Online ticketing platform BookMyShow reported 34.93 lakh tickets sold for the film over the weekend—driven by 10.4 lakh on Friday, 9.36 lakh on Saturday, and 7.07 lakh on Sunday. The figure marks the fifth-highest first-weekend performance on the platform for a Bollywood title, trailing only Dhurandhar 2 (8.26M), Jawan (6.02M), Animal (4.25M), and Stree 2 (4.09M).

Directed by Abhishek Pathak—who took over the franchise with Drishyam 2 following the passing of original director Nishikant Kamat—the film is written by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh.

Pathak had previously confirmed that development on the Korean, Spanish, and Hollywood remakes of the thriller is moving at a rapid pace, with filming scheduled to wrap up on key versions by the end of the year. The filmmaker had said that each adaptation will receive a traditional theatrical release in its respective territory, mounted in partnership with local studios and producers.

The ensemble cast includes Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav. Presented by Star Studio18, the Panorama Studios production is backed by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.
