Often regarded as one of his finest performances, Awarapan (2007) was directed by Mohit Suri and featured Hashmi chronicling the redemption arc of a gangster. Produced by Vishesh Bhatt, who has reportedly already started curating a chartbuster music album for the film, Awarapan 2 would pick up from where Shivam’s story left off.

Hashmi is currently seen in a special appearance in The Ba***ds of Bollywood and is awaiting the release of his next, They Call Him OG. The Telugu film is headlined by Pawan Kalyan and is set to open globally on September 25.
