The first look of Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, the upcoming Malayalam film starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, was unveiled on Sunday to coincide with the Vishu celebrations. The poster was shared by Priyadarshan on social media, offering a glimpse into the much-anticipated collaboration.
Directed and written by Althaf Salim, the film is produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions. The project marks Salim’s second feature, following his 2017 debut Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela, which received critical acclaim for its sensitive storytelling.
Joining Faasil and Priyadarshan is a sprawling ensemble cast that includes veteran actors Revathi, Lal, and Suresh Krishna, alongside Dhyan Sreenivasan, Vinay Forrt, Babu Antony, Johny Antony, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Anuraj, and Vineeth Vasudevan.
Behind the camera, Jinto George serves as director of photography, with music composed by Justin Varghese and editing by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. The production, which began in April 2024, has yet to announce a release date.
Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira adds to the growing slate of Malayalam films led by star-driven yet ensemble-centric narratives. The film’s title, which loosely translates to “Running Horse, Jumping Horse,” has already sparked curiosity among fans online.
