The anticipated film's title and glimpse will be launched at a grand Hyderabad event on November 15.
All eyes will be on 'Globe Trotter' this weekend, SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's upcoming magnum opus, which will be launched with a grand event on November 15 in Hyderabad. The event will be held at the popular Ramoji Film City on Saturday, and will also be live-streamed on Jio Hotstar. Audiences in the US can stream the event on American media house Variety's official YouTube channel.
Ahead of this anticipated launch, the film's makers have revealed important information to keep in mind.
In a video on social media, SS Rajamouli clarified that the occasion wouldn't be open to the public. "Only those with physical passes will be allowed to attend. I’ve seen some videos claiming this is an open event - don’t believe them. Physical passes are mandatory, and only those with access should come," he said in Telugu, as quoted by India Today. The filmmaker went on to discuss traffic details for invitees to ensure a smooth arrival at the venue. “I know all of you are eagerly looking forward to our ‘Globetrotter’ event. For the event to go smoothly, your cooperation is extremely important. Considering the craze surrounding it and everyone’s safety, the police department has issued strict instructions to be followed,” he added. The caution and safety regulations come on the heels of stampede incidents in Hyderabad and Karur at venues attended by star icons Allu Arjun and Vijay.
Taking promotions for the film a step ahead, makers have issued faux passports as passes for the event, detailing information about the event. These documents feature the film's first glimpse, along with the caption, "Two years ago, we set out to chase the kind of stories that don't have maps. Today, that journey stands at the edge of history, unveiling the title and glimpse to welcome you into our world. Let's celebrate this moment together, safely and with pride."
It was also recently confirmed that popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, and Telugu television presenter Suma Kanakala will be hosting the event on Saturday. The makers of the film have also reportedly confirmed that over 50,000 people will attend the event, where the film's teaser will be unveiled on a massive 130 ft x 100 ft screen.
The looks of the film's cast, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, were recently launched by the makers on social media, introducing the menacing Mandakini and Kumbha to audiences.
