Just three days ahead of a grand title launch event set to take place in an unprecedented manner in Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad, the makers of the SS Rajamouli film put out the first single from the movie’s album. Sung by Shruti Haasan, the anthem is titled ‘Globe Trotter’. It is composed by M.M. Keeravaani, who won the Oscar for SS Rajamouli’s previous film RRR (2022). Apart from Shruti Haasan, Kaala Bhairava has also sung the song.  Lyrics are by Chaitanya Prasad, and the song has been arranged by Kaala Bhairava. It is programmed and mixed by Siddharth S and mastered by Abin Paul. The song has already received lots of praise for Shruti Haasan’s lilting voice.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran recently debuted his unsettling first look as the antagonist 'Kumbha' from the film. The Telugu film, starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, is in its final stages and will mark Rajamouli's follow-up to the epic success of RRR.  Sukumaran exudes a creepy doctor-octopus-meets-Professor-X vibe in the futuristic poster. The actor is seen seated in a nifty wheelchair, manning multiple robotic limbs via a panel. A troop of soldiers and a solitary media van looms in the far distance.

Sharing the poster on social media, Rajamouli was all praise for the Malayalam actor-director, calling him the finest he's ever known. "After canning the first shot with Prithvi, I walked up to him and said you are one of the finest actors I’ve ever known. Bringing life to this sinister, ruthless, powerful antagonist KUMBHA was creatively very satisfying. Thank you Prithvi for slipping into his chair… literally…"

Globe Trotter, true to its name, has been shot across the world, including a major schedule in Kenya. Reportedly mounted on a budget of ₹1000 crore, the film is said to blend action, adventure, and mythology. A glimpse of the film will be unveiled at a grand event in Hyderabad on November 15. A previous poster had teased Mahesh Babu's look, displaying a blood-stained chest with a rudraksha, trishool and a Nandi pendant.
