The title of Nayanthara and Kavin's upcoming title has been announced, along with glimpses of the film. The first on-screen collaboration between the two Tamil actors will be titled Hi. Directed by Vishnu Edavan, a popular Tamil film lyricist, the film will have music by Jen Martin.
Two posters of the film were released on October 8, which show the two actors as possible neighbours, shot against the background of an apartment. The film's cinematography will be handled by Rajesh Shukla, editing by Lokesh Kanagaraj's frequent collaborator Philomin Raj, music by Jen Martin, and art and stunt direction by Sekar B and Dinesh Kasi.
Nayanthara will also be seen in the upcoming Mookuthi Amman sequel. The makers of the film unveiled the first look from the film on Dussehra, featuring the actor as the titular goddess. The new look has Nayanthara dressed in a green saree and holding a trident. The grand poster features the actor sitting on the steps of a temple, bejewelled with gold and diamonds, giving a glimpse of its scale. The makers also dropped the film's Telugu and Hindi posters. The film has been titled Mahashakti in the two languages. The film is directed by Sundar C and also stars Urvashi, Duniya Vijay, Regina Cassandra and Yogi Babu among others. The original film was directed by RJ Balaji.
The actress will also be seen in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The upcoming Telugu film is directed by Anil Ravipudi (Sankranthiki Vasthunam) and stars Nayanthara and Chiranjeevi. This is the actor's third consecutive film with Chiranjeevi, following Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is gearing up for a Sankranthi 2026 release.
Kavin, on the other hand, was last seen in the Tamil film Kiss, which was directed by Sathish Krishnan and co-starred Preethi Asrani and Prabhu.
