Jio Studios Acquires 50.1 Per Cent Stake in Sikhya Entertainment
Jio Studios, backed by the Reliance Group, has partnered with Sikhya Entertainment to co-create films and series.
A new creative collaboration is underway as Jio Studios, backed by the Reliance Group, has partnered with Sikhya Entertainment to co-create films and series. As part of the deal, Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL)—a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited—has acquired a 50.1% stake in Sikhya Entertainment, founded by Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.
The collaboration will aim to bring together Jio Studios’ scale, reach, and vision—having produced titles such as Dhurandhar, Lapataa Ladies, and the Stree franchise—with Sikhya Entertainment’s track record of globally resonant, culturally rooted storytelling.
