Krithi Shetty, who last appeared in Love Insurance Kompany in April, and in Vaa Vaathiyaar prior to that in January, is now set to make her much-awaited Bollywood debut with Hum Tere Pyaar Mein.
The film, which will go on floors on October 15, is directed by writer and filmmaker Vidhi Ghodgaonkar and presented by Rohit Shetty and AVS Studios in association with Tudip Entertainment.
Shetty made the announcement recently through an Instagram story that featured a photo of a clapboard and a backdrop of what appears to be a mountainous region.
Ghodgaonkar, who has spent the last 17 years as Rohit Shetty's protégé, was also the casting director for Chennai Express (2013) and the writer for Sooryavanshi (2012) and Singham Again (2024).
Singham Again was also Shetty's last major directorial project. His upcoming directorial ventures include the biographical action film Maria IPS, headlined by John Abraham, and Golmaal 5 which is currently eyeing a January 5, 2027 release.
As for Shetty, the actor is next set to star as one of the female leads in Anil Ravipudi's January 12 Vidudala, previously referred to as "VenkyAnil5," with Keerthy Suresh as the other female lead. The film is headlined by Daggubati Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
Shetty will also lead Bhuvanesh Arjunan's multi-lingual fantasy-drama Genie, alongside Jayam Ravi. The film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Devayani.
Hum Tere Pyaar Mein is produced by Abishek S Vyas and Dipti Agarwal and co-produced by Priyanka Chaudhary.
