Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur Tie the Knot in Intimate Ceremony

The event took place at their Bandra residence with close friends and family.

Actor Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur have officially begun a new chapter of their lives as they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Wednesday evening. Moving away from a traditional large-scale wedding, the couple opted for a registrar wedding that celebrated the moment in a personal setting at their Bandra home.

The event was set against a theme inspired by sunset tones and golden-hour hues, the ceremony was elegant, intimate and deeply meaningful to them. The couple’s families and a close circle of friends came together for a warm celebration that reflected their understated style.

For the occasion, Kamra wore a red Chanderi saree. The piece was a gift from her mother that was specially woven for her. The saree was created by Cinnabar, an initiative led by the actor’s family that focuses on conserving the traditional dyeing artform of the Chanderi region while providing a platform to local women artisans. She paired the saree with heritage polki jewellery and emerald accents. Complementing the warm tones of the evening, Kapur wore an elegant ivory and gold traditional bandhgala coat designed by Raghavendra Rathore.

The guest list was a curated mix of close friends from the entertainment industry including Farhan Akhtar, Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia, and Soha Ali Khan. As well as the sports fraternity like Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, and Virender Sehwag who joined the families in marking the couple’s special day.

The evening celebrations unfolded with a relaxed sundowner overlooking the Mumbai skyline, where guests came together to celebrate the couple against a backdrop of warm golden light and music. The wedding was photographed by Joseph Radhik, while the sunset-inspired décor was curated by Devika Narain.

In a joint statement after the ceremony, the couple shared, “We’ve always believed that the most meaningful moments in life are the ones shared with the people you love. As we begin this new chapter together, we’re so grateful to celebrate our wedding surrounded by our families and closest friends at home, in Mumbai.” Following the private exchange of vows, the couple made a brief appearance to acknowledge the media and paparazzi gathered outside their residence.

While the ceremony on Wednesday was an intimate affair, the celebrations will continue with a larger gathering hosted by the couple on March 12, with a wider circle of friends and well-wishers coming together to celebrate their union.
