After months of rumours and speculation, legendary American rock band Linkin Park have officially confirmed they will headline Lollapalooza India 2026, making their long-awaited debut in the country. The band will perform on January 25, 2026 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai, as part of their From Zero World Tour.

The announcement was first shared in a newsletter sent to fans, which included the festival poster ahead of general ticket sales opening on August 28 at 12 pm IST on lollaindia.com and BookMyShow. The Mumbai show is also listed among tour dates on the band’s website.

Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda said in the newsletter, “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them.”

This India debut comes two years after Linkin Park reemerged with From Zero, their first album since the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017. The record introduced new vocalist Emily Armstrong, alongside drummer Colin Brittain and live guitarist Alex Federer, joining founding members Shinoda, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Rob Bourdon and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell.

The comeback marked a new era for the band, who had last performed at their heartfelt 2017 tribute concert to Bennington before years of silence. Their return has since included arena tours around the world and new music, beginning with their first post-hiatus single 'The Emptiness Machine'.

One presale post read, "From zero to hundred. Experience the next level of live music at Lolla India 2026," referencing Linkin Park’s 2024 album 'From Zero'. Another read, "Come be a part of something," which fans connected to lyrics from 'The Emptiness Machine'.
