'Mana ShankaraVara Prasad Garu' Trailer: Chiranjeevi And Nayanthara In An Action Comedy

Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara's upcoming film Mana ShankaraVara Prasad Garu just got a trailer. The almost three-minute trailer shows us glimpses of Chiranjeevi's intelligence officer, who navigates romance and a strenuous life as a man who fights thugs. The film will be released on January 12.

The film, written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, also co-stars Venkatesh Daggubati, who gets a fun appearance in the trailer too. The Telugu film is the actress Nayanthara's third consecutive film with Chiranjeevi, following Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather. Daggubati was last seen in one of Telugu cinema's biggest hits from 2025. Written and directed by Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunam also featured Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, and opened to generally positive reviews, emerging a success at the box office. He was also seen in the second season of Rana Naidu, as Rana Daggubati's father, Naga, in the Netflix action drama.

Chiranjeevi, on the other hand, was last seen in Bhola Shankar (2023).

In other news, a team of Telugu cinema stalwarts, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, SS Rajamouli and Nagarjuna, recently visited the Hyderabad City Police on Monday to congratulate their team on the arrest of a man named Immadi Ravi, who ran the illegal movie site iBomma.

In a press address right after the meeting, Chiranjeevi blamed sites such as iBomma for the underperformance of films such as Ram Charan’s Shankar-directed Game Changer, Pawan Kalyan’s OG and Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom. The leaked version of the recently-released HIT: The Third Case, led to the police crackdown of what is considered one the country’s biggest piracy sites, according to a report in The Hindustan Times. Chiranjeevi said, “At the beginning of 2025, Dil Raju’s Game Changer, and later, films like Kingdom, Thandel, and OG, have all faced losses at the box office due to this man (Immadi Ravi),” he said.
