Milap Zaveri and Harshvardhan Rane Reunite After 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ For New Film

Following the monumental success of his 2025 blockbuster, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, director Milap Zaveri is once again gearing up to collaborate with actor Harshvardhan Rane. The upcoming venture, produced by Bhushan Kumar under his T-Series banner, will mark a significant reunion for the duo that has recently proven to be a goldmine at the box-office.

Sources close to the team have revealed that the film is already in advanced pre-production stages and is expected to go on floors in the coming months. Zaveri is known for creating films that resonate deeply with a wide audience, and his signature "massy" romance was cemented by his work on Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat (2025).

Although an official announcement has yet to come, their upcoming collaboration is expected to position Rane in yet another powerful role, grounded in Zaveri’s distinct style.

The development comes after it was speculated that Zaveri would direct another T Series project headlined by Tiger Shroff and Vidyut Jammwal. The film was billed as an intense action love story, which would also mark the full-fledged Hindi film debut of actor Krithi Shetty. The film was also supposed to go on floors in February.

However, the filmmaker won't be helming the said project anymore, as he will be directing the title headlined by Rane, who has been on a good run at the box-office since the re-release of the romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam.

Co-starring Sonam Bajwa, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat was fuelled by its emotionally charged narrative. The film struck a chord with a wide audience, despite lukewarm reviews from critics. By grossing over ₹100 crore against a modest ₹25 crore budget, the film became one of the most profitable Hindi releases of 2025.

The film was released last Diwali and clashed with the horror comedy Thamma, headlined by Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.
