There are reports that the Malayalam and Hindi versions of 'Drishyam 3' will be shot and released simultaneously, to avoid the mystery being revealed.
The adventures of Georgekutty and his family will continue as superstar Mohanlal on Thursday announced the third instalment of his mystery-drama Drishyam.
While no further details about Drishyam 3 were shared by the actor, Mohanlal posted a picture on X with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor announcing the movie.

"The Past Never Stays Silent. Drishyam 3 confirmed!" Mohanlal tweeted. Fans of the franchise were thrilled with the development, as the third part of the movie was being teased by the makers for a long time.
The first part of Drishyam, which was released in 2013, chronicled the struggle of Georgekutty and his family, who come under suspicion when the son of an Inspector-General of police goes missing.
Apart from Mohanlal, the movie featured Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Roshan Basheer and Neeraj Madhav. The primary cast of the film returned for its sequel Drishyam 2 in 2021, which was released on Prime Video due to the pandemic.
The success of Drishyam also led to a Hindi remake of the same name, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The sequel of the film was released theatrically in 2022.
