Allu Arjun starrer 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is breaking all box office records.

What some films achieve in their entire theatrical run, Pushpa 2: The Rule has done that within a week: Cross the ₹1000 cr mark. The Allu Arjun starrer has scripted history by becoming the fastest film to touch the milestone within a week of its release.

Sukumar's Pushpa 2: The Rule, also starring Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, displayed a fantastic hold on Tuesday, with all-India net collections estimated to be around ₹55 cr. Out of this, the Hindi version remained the dominant factor, contributing ₹36 cr net.

Though the official figures are awaited, the film's performance on its sixth day was enough to propel the global gross to nearly ₹1000 cr. SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion had achieved the milestone in 10 days, which was the previous best.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has already crossed the worldwide collection of Ranbir Kapoor-led Animal, which minted over ₹900 cr last December.

It will now comfortably chase the lifetime global gross of other mighty titles ahead, including Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (₹1050 cr) Prabhas-led Kalki 2898 AD (₹1100 cr), Jawan (approximately ₹1150 cr), KGF: Chapter 2 (over ₹1200 cr) and SS Rajamouli's RRR (over ₹1300 cr).

Pushpa 2: The Rule will break most of the records by its second weekend itself. It will then chase the bigger record holders on the list like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (over ₹1800 cr) and Aamir Khan's Dangal (nearly ₹2024 cr), both of which had released in China, boosting their global gross significantly.

The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, will have a clear run at the Hindi box office till Varun Dhawan's Baby John releases on December 25.
