He also added that these characters, along with Senthil (played by Kishore), are integral to the story of Vetrimaaran’s upcoming Arasan. The film, which stars Silambarasan TR and Vijay Sethupathi, has generated quite the buzz among fans already, with Samuthirakani’s comments ending months of speculation about the cast. Arasan will be Silambaran’s first film with Vetrimaaran.

According to Cinema Express, Samuthirakani shared: "We are all a part of the crime drama. I am not sure if there would be a Silambarasan and Dhanush face-off in the film. Vetrimaaran told me that I am there [in the film]. There will be a magic in Arasan, and the script has all the elements in it. Every time Vetrimaaran narrates the story, it feels completely different. Making Arasan requires a huge effort. Apart from that, I can't reveal anything.”

His revelation has sparked even more curiosity among fans of Vada Chennai (2018), who are eagerly awaiting the film. The makers have confirmed that the film is already in its second schedule, and additional details are expected in the coming weeks.
