This is Abishan Jeevinth’s first film as a solo hero. He had acted in and directed this year’s surprise hit Tourist Family. In this video, we see a fun friendship between these two characters as Anaswara’s character Monisha asks Abhishan’s character about his possessiveness.

The film is being directed by Madhan in his directorial debut. Abishan portrays a character named Sathya and the film’s shoot took place in Chennai. It is jointly produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth, Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian, under the banners of MRP Entertainment and Zion Films. Anaswara Rajan is also a part of Selvaraghavan's 7G Rainbow Colony 2, which is a sequel to the director's own 7G Rainbow Colony.

Shreyaas Krishna will be the cinematographer and Sean Roldan will compose music for the film. Roldan also composed music for Abishan's debut directorial, Tourist Family. Soundarya Rajinikanth last directed Velaiilla Pattadhaari 2 (2017), featuring Dhanush and Kajol. She had earlier helmed the animated film Kochadaiiyaan, a period adventure epic, starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s iconic 1995 film Baashha is set to return to the big screen this year after being officially selected for the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The screening forms a key part of the festival’s tribute to the superstar, who is being honoured at the closing ceremony for completing 50 years in cinema — a milestone being widely celebrated across the industry.
