Netflix India recently debuted a first-look glimpse at The Ba***ds of Bollywood, the much-anticipated directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The upcoming series promises to be a cheeky and edgy take on the behind-the-scenes madness of Bollywood.

Aryan features in the teaser himself, introducing the concept of the show and setting the tone for the satirical shenanigans in store. The video asset kicks off with a Mohabbatein-inspired romantic montage, which is unceremoniously interrupted by a grisly twist. “Was that a little too crazy? Get used to it,” Aryan smirks in the teaser.

The Ba***Ds of Bollywood features an ensemble cast led by Bobby Deol, Lakshya and Sahher Bambba. They are joined by Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, and Gautami Kapoor.

Billed as a provocative, genre-bending series set against a filmy backdrop, The Ba***ds of Bollywood is written by Aryan along with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Siddiqi and Chauhan are also credited as co-creators of the Red Chillies Entertainment production.
