The crew of Ram Charan's upcoming Telugu production The India House sustained injuries when a burst water tank recently flooded the film's set. According to a report by India Today, an assistant cameraman and a few more crew members sustained injuries in the incident.

The incident reportedly took place while filming scenes against the backdrop of the sea on a set near Shamshabad in Telangana. According to reports, the mishap seemingly caused massive damage to the sets. Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, The India House features Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, and co-stars Saiee Manjrekar and Anupam Kher in important roles. Siddhartha wrote about the incident on X, thankful that the incident didn't cause any human damage. “We are all safe. Sometimes, in our quest to give the best cinematic experience, we take risks. Today, we survived a huge mishap thanks to the alert crew and precautions taken. We lost Expensive Equipment but by gods grace there was no human damage,” he wrote.

Ram Charan announced his maiden production venture with a short promo in 2023, marking the 140th birth anniversary of Veer Savarkar. "On the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of our great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar Garu we are proud to announce our pan India film - THE INDIA HOUSE headlined by Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupam Kher ji & director Ram Vamsi Krishna! Jai Hind!" he wrote on X, sharing glimpses from the period drama. Set in 1905, the film is said to explore themes of love and revolution.
