'War 2': YRF Sets Stage For Alia Bhatt, Sharvari's 'Alpha' With Post-Credit Scene
Hrithik Roshan and JR NTR may be at the centre of 'War 2', but Yash Raj Films’ post-credit surprise paves the way for 'Alpha', the spy universe’s first female-led blockbuster, releasing this December
Two heavyweights— Hrithik Roshan and JR NTR—might be fighting it out on the big screen in War 2, but Yash Raj Films has already laid the groundwork for their next battlefield: Alpha. The production house has teased the upcoming spy-universe feature, led by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, in the post-credit sequence of War 2.
Set to release in December this year, Alpha will be the franchise's first female-led action film. It is being helmed by Shiv Rawail.

In the post-credits scene of War 2, a gruff Bobby Deol appears on screen, tattooing the sign of Alpha — the first letter of the Greek alphabet — on a young girl’s arm.
He tells the girl (likely a younger version of Bhatt’s character) that 'Alpha' means "the fast, the fastest, the strongest.” He goes on to profess that in every jungle, the Alpha rules, and that, in due time, the little girl will do the same.
The film ends with the logo reveal for Alpha, the first female-led entry in the spy universe. Alpha will have a massive global release on December 25, featuring cameos from other characters from the franchise which includes Salman Khan's Tiger and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan.
War 2, the sixth instalment of the Spy Universe, sees Roshan back on-screen as his popular character of Major Kabir from War (2019). In the sequel, he is joined by JR NTR in his Hindi debut.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Kiara Advani, War 2 is produced by Aditya Chopra and has released globally in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The film is facing a box-office battle with the other biggie: Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the Tamil film also stars Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and features Aamir Khan in a special appearance.
