Sooraj Barjatya's next film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, has been officially titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The movie, described as the latest family entertainer from Rajshri Productions, a legacy banner known for its wholesome, emotional dramas, will release theatrically on November 27, 2026.
In the film, Khurrana steps in as the new Prem, an archetype previously associated with Salman Khan in multiple Rajshri productions. The name has been linked with a gentle, idealistic male in Barjatya’s films.
Salman Khan played Prem in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999), and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015), while Shahid Kapoor played a character with same name in Vivah.
Yeh Prem Mol Liya is produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films. It marks Barjatya’s return to directing after 2022's Uunchai, for which he won the National Award for Best Director. Himesh Reshammiya has composed the film's music, reuniting with Barjatya after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Barjatya titled - 'Yeh Prem Mol Liya' starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari a Himesh Reshammiya musical. In theatres 27th November 2026 - Save the date!"
Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the horror comedy Thamma. The actor also has Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment-backed spy comedy Udta Teer and the triangular romcom Pati Patni Aur Woh Do in the offing. Sharvari, meanwhile, will be seen in the tentpole spy actioner Alpha with Alia Bhatt. The film is scheduled for a July release this year.
