'The Bridges of Madison County' (1995)

“It’s my most favourite film,” Dimri says. “I loved Meryl Streep in it. She was wonderful and I’ve seen it at least 15 times. Every time I watch it, it feels like I’m watching it for the first time. There’s so much to learn from an actor like her.” The film follows Francesca Johnson, an Italian war bride living a quiet farm life in Iowa in 1965. When her family leaves for a state fair, she begins a passionate four-day affair with Robert Kincaid, a National Geographic photographer.

Amid the buzz surrounding its sequel, which released last month, The Devil Wears Prada follows Andrea “Andy” Sachs (Anne Hathaway), an aspiring journalist who lands a job as an assistant to the formidable Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), editor-in-chief of Runway magazine. “It’s all about fashion, and I learned a thing or two about that when I watched the film,” says Dimri. 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' (2013)

When discussing her favourite films, Ayan Mukerji’s romantic drama, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur, comes easy to Dimri. “It’s such a happy-go-lucky film,” she says. A tale of love and friendship, it follows an unlikely introvert and extrovert, who reunite at a wedding years after a trip to the mountains. Dimri says, “It makes me happy, and puts a smile on my face. I remember watching it seven times when it first came out.”
