Prime Video’s Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26 gathered YA stars Ananya Panday, Damian Hardung and Lili Reinhart in the Bavarian Alps to spotlight its growing slate of international young-adult originals. The campus-themed event unveiled first-look images, cast reveals and updates on Call Me Bae, Maxton Hall and The Love Hypothesis, underscoring Amazon’s biggest global YA push yet.
Prime Video brought together stars from its global young-adult slate this week for Obsessed Retreat: Class of '26, a two-day showcase held September 7-8 in the Bavarian Alps, spotlighting an expanded lineup of non-English-language International Originals from Spain, France, Germany, Italy and India.
Among those in attendance was Call Me Bae star Ananya Panday, pictured alongside Maxton Hall — The World Between Us actor Damian Hardung and The Love Hypothesis star Lili Reinhart, as the streamer used the retreat to unveil first-look images and cast reveals across its expanding YA catalogue.
The event, styled after the campus settings featured in many of Prime Video's YA titles, included panel discussions, screenings and author readings, with Panday appearing on stage to discuss her character in the upcoming second season of Call Me Bae, which the streamer confirmed is coming soon.
Hardung returned alongside co-star Harriet Herbig-Matten to promote the third season of Maxton Hall, Prime Video's most-watched non-English original, set to launch December 9. Reinhart appeared for The Love Hypothesis, based on Ali Hazelwood's bestselling novel, premiering September 23.
Nicole Clemens, Amazon MGM Studios' VP and head of international originals, framed the slate as the company's biggest bet yet on young-adult programming, driven by non-English titles she said carry universal appeal despite being rooted in local storytelling.
The retreat also brought first-look reveals for the UK series Boys of Tommen, the Italian sequel Love Me Love Me 2, and Our Fault: London, the concluding chapter in the UK adaptation of Mercedes Ron's Culpables trilogy.
Additional talent at the event included Spain's Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García for Drawn Together, France's Vittoria di Savoia and Lucas Barski for You+Me — Against the World, and Germany's Lisa-Marie Koroll for Drive — The Pretenders.
The gathering builds on Prime Video's broader youth-audience push this year, following the Prime Video: Retreat event in Ibiza and the inaugural Obsessed Fest fan gathering held in Los Angeles in June.
