Arijit Singh announces a nine-city India tour from January to May 2027, celebrating two decades in music. The concerts, featuring immersive production elements, mark his return to live performances after retiring from playback singing earlier this year.

Indian singer and composer Arijit Singh is returning to live concert performances, with the announcement of a nine-city India tour on October 5. Running from January to May 2027, the tour celebrates two decades of his career in music.

The tour will cover Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Indore and Hyderabad, and will be Arijit Singh's biggest India tour yet.

Kicking off the tour in Ahmedabad on January 9, the next stop will be Chandigarh on January 23. These performances are followed by stops in Jaipur (February 7), Mumbai (February 20), Bengaluru (March 13), and Delhi (March 27). The tour concludes with three more performances, with a show in Pune on April 10, the next in Indore on May 1, and the final stop in Hyderabad, on May 15.

The concerts are being planned at a stadium scale, with reports stating that the production will incorporate 360-degree spatial audio, kinetic LED fixtures, panoramic screens and pyrotechnics. A multi-level stage with an extended runway is also being planned for, allowing Singh to perform for and interact with fans more closely.

Overall, the shows are being designed to create an immersive concert experience for the fans. Tickets for the tour will be available on thumpN, with tickets for certain Kotak card holders opening on October 10 and 11 and general sales opening on October 13.

The tour announcement comes months after the renowned musician, vocalist and playback singer announced his retirement in a personal New Year's message. News of the retirement came as a shock, leaving millions of fans worldwide disheartened.

Singh made it clear in his announcement that this only marked his departure from playback singing, saying he will no longer take on new assignments as a film vocalist. Singh is a leading vocalist of his generation who delivered many of the most memorable Hindi film songs of this century.
