As Dharma Productions prepares for the release of its Hindi romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, the studio is also expanding into Gujarati cinema with Jindagi Once More, which they will be presenting. The Siddharth Randeria-led film is produced by Vaasu Dholakia and directed by Jaymin.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is officially making its maiden foray into Gujarati cinema by presenting the upcoming film Jindagi Once More.

Headlined by actor Siddharth Randeria, the film is a Vaartakaar Films production, produced by Vasuu Dholakia and directed by Jaymin. The screenplay is penned by Deep Dholakia—who also makes his on-screen acting debut—alongside a supporting cast featuring Aarti Patel and Jahanvi Dhakan.

"At Dharma, we have always believed that great stories know no linguistic boundaries," said Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions.

"The Gujarati film industry is currently witnessing a phenomenal creative renaissance, backed by a deeply passionate and loyal audience. Our decision to enter this vibrant market with Jindagi Once More stems from our desire to support high-concept, culturally rooted narratives that resonate universally," Mehta added.

According to the makers, the film explores a deeply relatable, emotional narrative centered around a father-son relationship, touching upon the "poignant reality that children rarely know who their father truly was before they were born."

Producer Dholakia stated that Dharma Productions’ entry into this space is a "big achievement for the entire Gujarati film industry."

"It validates the incredible narrative potential and commercial viability of our cinema. By blending the unmatched experience of Siddharth Randeria with a highly motivated team of debutant filmmakers, we have crafted a film that will set a new benchmark," the producer added.

On the film front, Johar's Dharma Productions is currently awaiting the release of their romantic drama Chand Mera Dil.

Led by Lakshya and Ananya Panday—last seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri— the film is gearing to open in cinemas this Friday. It marks the first theatrical release of filmmaker Vivek Soni, who had previously helmed two Netflix titles, Sanya Malhotra-Abhimanyu Dasani's Meenakshi Sundareshwar and Aap Jaisa Koi, starring R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
